PET Speaking part 3

Our students have brought their own photos to class to practise for PET for Schools Speaking part 3. They know they shouldn't forget to:

  • describe the people and the activities in the photos.
  • describe people’s role in the photo.
  • imagine they are describing the image to someone who can’t see it naming all the objects and providing details: the place, the weather, the time of the day, the season, the colours, the clothes (how are people dressed?), age (how old do you think they are?)
  • talk about objects’ and people’s position in the photo.

  • describe their feelings and emotions (how do they feel about what they are doing?)
  • explain unknown concepts (vocabulary they don’t know)
  • who took the photo?
  • make conclusions about what’s happening.

All the photos were great!!! We've seen relatives, babies, sportive people, classmates, school trips, ID images... no matter how small or big the picture is, you can always comment on it.
