"It's summer now, so I spend nearly all my time outside with my friends. What do you do in your country when the weather is sunny? What's your favourite type of weather and why?"

Thanks for your letter. It was great to hear from you. And sorry if I haven't written any letter to you but I was too busy. This is just a quick note to tell you some things because I already have exams.
So I will start answering your questions. Well, when in my county, Asturias, is sunny we are so frightened to see the sun! ok, no. When it's sunny we do all we want to outside. In my country, it normally rains a lot but I like it. I like when it's raining because it means all plants are watered and I love water so.... Why shouldn't I like rain?

In my country when the weather is sunny we go surfing or swimming in the beach. We also go to the swimming pool or to some lakes to swim. We can do snorkelling or scuba-diving, we go fishing and some people go kitesurfing or windsurfing in the rivers. We go all the days to the skate park or to our tree house.
I prefer sunny days because I can do all types of sports and I'm a sportive person.

How are you? I'm fine. Here where I live the weather is not very good but when it's sunny and warm I do a lot of things with my friends. Usually I go to the beach or to the swimming pool in the afternoon. Other times when it's warm but not sunny I go with my friends to take photographs. I prefer sunny and warm days because I can do more things, if it's raining I can't do all I want to and sometimes I have to stay at home. And you, what do you prefer sunny or rainy days?

Well in summer I like going to the swimming pool or to the beach or also spend an afternoon with my friends. We do a lot of things together, it's real fun! I also come out to my house's terrace and do some gymnastics! Or go to the main square and eat an ice-cream, I enjoy doing some crazy stuff with some friends. I also sometimes go to the beach and swim or surf having a great time with friends and cousins.
I really like when it's sunny! You can do anything!

In summer my friends and me we always go with our bicycles around a small village in the north of Asturias. Somedays we like visiting routes near Luanco too. Some other days I go sailing with my father in his boat. I was actually taking sailing lessons with my friends and cousins. In August I was in Salinas a surfing village, nowadays I'm a member of Real Club Naútico of Salinas, in Salinas. I was practising surf with my friends and several other sports like football, tennis, swimming in a big swimming pool....

Hello Lisa,
Here in Avilés it's winter and it's very cold. I spend most part of the week studying for exams. It normally rains but when it doesn't rain we go to the beach, to the shopping mall, we go to a bar or a café, we hang out in town.
My favourite weather is hot and very sunny because I go to my little piece of field with my family and once a year I invite my friends to sleep in the family's caravan and we have a really good time. I hope I can invite you to one of these parties.

when it's summer I spend much time with my friends. We ride a bike all days and we go on a trip to the countryside. We also go to the swimming pool because it's very hot. I sometimes go with my family to the market. But in winter I can't do anything like this. I can go skiing with my family and my friends. In summer I can't meet up with my friends because I'm not here, but in winter I can because I'm here.

It's very cold in here, so it's almost like winter but it's autumn. Now, I'm going out to play hide and seek with my best pals: Arturo and Marina. We have been friends since 2006, when we were 3 years old.In my country, we usually go outside and play soccer or go for a walk. Sometimes, I play with dogs or talk to their owners. I think pets are lovely, especially cats. My favourite type of weather is when it's snowing for two reasons: I love playing in the snow and the school is closed!

Here, in Asturias, the weather changes a lot. One day it's snowing, and the next day it's sunny. Obviously the weather is warmer in summer than in winter. When it's sunny, we go to the beach all day long. There you can sunbathe in the sea or make sandcastles.
